Resolved Question: What Law Enforcement Departments should I to go to?

I am planning on being a cop soon. I'm looking for a family oriented department that has officers who would have my back no matter what situation I was in (unless i do something really stupid). At first I wanted to join LAPD, but I've heard that their department was really bad, and I have heard many horror stories about how the department treats their officers. I'd like to know some departments that are nice and wouldn't treat their officers badly. I live in the Southern California area. Some of my choices are Sheriff's Department, San Gabriel PD, Pasadena PD, El Monte PD, Arcadia PD, Monterrey Park PD, West Covina PD. Those are the only departments that I am aware of near-by but I do not know if they are good departments. If you guys know any good departments go ahead and list them, but please let it be from Southern California that's not further then a 30 min drive from West Covina, California. Thanks so much....
